How dare we, as climate scientists working for sustainable development, claim that our deeds can reach our high goals? Or does our research depend primarily on the source of the funding?
If not, then every research programme, project or task must form a vision, great or small, to explain exactly how and under what circumstances each contribution can make a difference. This would allow us to understand more fully what we are doing. I hereby challenge my colleagues at KTH and beyond – make a Thunbergian declaration of your research! In a coming column I promise to present my own vision.
